In the morning: RIB handover at the harbour, 20-30 minute briefing on controls, anchoring, restricted zones (Sazan shoreline, military area) and the recommended route based on the day's wind. Then the sea is yours until 17:00.
Real costs to know: fuel excluded (€40-60 for the classic loop), €200-300 deposit returned on arrival back. If you don't feel like driving, for €50 more a skipper comes aboard and the deposit disappears. The RIB has a sun canopy, shower, ladder and cool bag: bring lunch and drinks and the day is perfect.

Yes: in Albania RIBs up to 40 hp can be driven without a boating licence from 18 years. The briefing covers everything you need.
How far can I go?
All of Vlorë bay and Karaburun's north coast: Sazan (at regulation distance), Haxhi Ali Cave from outside, the bays of Shën Vasil and Dafina. The exposed west side is discouraged for self-drivers.
What if I have a problem at sea?
You call the support number: the support boat arrives in 15-20 minutes. Nothing serious has ever happened, but coverage is there.
