This is Vlorë's most complete tour: eight hours along the entire Karaburun peninsula coast, entering the Blue Cave at the best light, two hours in Grama Bay and swim stops the short tours skip. On speedboats of max 15 people, not 60-passenger vessels.
Direct booking with local operators: no hidden fees, free cancellation up to 48h before.
The difference from the classic Sazan-Karaburun tour is the western side of the peninsula: Grama Bay, with its vertical walls and turquoise water, and the Blue Cave, which you enter by boat when the sun between 11:00 and 13:00 lights the water electric blue. The skipper knows the exact light times for each month.
Lunch is not included but you can eat at the beach taverna (catch of the day, about €12-15) or bring a packed lunch: there's time and space under the canopy. Bring enough water: there are no bars on the wild bays.
Ideal for couples, groups of friends and families with children from 4 years. Not suitable for those who get very seasick (the west coast can have swell) or people with reduced mobility: you climb on and off the boat on the beaches.
In rough seas or strong south-westerly wind the tour is rescheduled to another day or 100% refunded. We decide the evening before by 20:00 and let you know on WhatsApp.
Maximum 12-15. We deliberately choose small speedboats: they enter the Blue Cave and get close to the beaches, impossible for large vessels.
If you want the Blue Cave and Grama Bay yes: the classic €25 tour doesn't reach the west side of the peninsula. If you only care about Sazan and Haxhi Ali, the classic is enough.
Yes, in calm seas the skipper takes the boat inside the cave. On swell days you observe from the entrance for safety (happens a few times a month).
